Education & Experience
Bridgett earned her dual degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Bridgett worked at a boutique personal injury law firm in Winter Park, Florida for over four years. Bridgett earned her J.D. from Barry University School of Law, where she received various academic awards, including a book award for excellence in Mediation. While attending law school, Bridgett worked as a legal intern for the Conviction Integrity Unit for the State Attorney’s Office in Orange County, a boutique law firm in Downtown Orlando, and she volunteered as a tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Bridgett was also engaged in various social clubs in law school, and became a board member for the Immigration Law Society.
Before joining Malik Law, P.A., Bridgett practiced in first party property and personal injury litigation at a large insurance defense firm in Orlando, Florida. During this time, Bridgett learned how the insurance companies evaluate and litigate first party property claims, which she now uses to the benefit of the clients she represents.
Bridgett is a Clearwater native and a Florida Gators fan. In her spare time, Bridgett enjoys spending time outdoors, playing volleyball, and going to theme parks.
