When You Need an Orlando Premises Liability Attorney

Have You or a Family Member Been Injured While on Someone Else’s Property? When you are a guest or customer on someone else’s property, you usually assume you are going to be safe.  However, this is not always the case.  Some property owners or managers do not take care of their property or are not aware of hazardous conditions on their property, situations which can put visitors at risk of getting injured. If you have been injured because of a dangerous condition on someone else’s property, and you had a right to be on the property, the person or people […]

Help for Orlando Families with Infants Suffering from Birth Injury-Related Brain Damage

Approximately seven of every 1,000 babies born in the U.S. suffer an injury during the birth process.  While most of those injuries are relatively minor, some unfortunate infants suffer from injuries that have serious, lifelong effects. Among the most devastating of these birth injuries are those that cause brain damage.  During the birth process or soon after delivery, an infant’s brain can be injured due to oxygen deprivation, a trauma to the head, or an infection. If your newborn has brain damage due to a birth injury and you suspect medical negligence, it’s important to seek help to understand exactly […]

Motorcycle Crashes Increase in Florida

According to statistics from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, the number of motorcycle crashes, injuries and fatalities all increased last year in Florida. As the table shows, fatalities of both drivers and passengers increased significantly. In the Orlando area, we’ve been fortunate.  Crashes, fatalities and injuries all decreased last year.  Yet for the 25 families who lost someone in a motorcycle accident and for the 554 people injured in crashes, slight decreases in numbers are meaningless.  People suffering from the effects of a motorcycle accident need our compassion and support.   If You or a Family […]

When You’ve Been Hurt in Florida on Someone Else’s Property

When you visit someone’s home, office, or place of business in Orlando, you should be able to expect that reasonable care has been taken to protect you from dangerous situations.  Unfortunately, all too often in Florida, this is not the case.  People get injured every day due to lack of good lighting and other security measures in parking lots, obstructions on stairways and in stores, slippery conditions on floors, poorly constructed merchandise displays, uneven sidewalks, and unsafe pools and amusement rides. Injuries due to a property owner or property manager’s negligence can be very painful and difficult to deal with.  […]

FIRM NEWS – Recent Accomplishments in the Courtroom

This month I have been to Court in Broward, Palm Beach, Osceola and Orange County! I managed to get the State Attorney’s Office to dismiss a D.U.I. charge one of my clients was facing. Also, I settled a case which I have been litigating for over a year just prior to the case being set for trial in Broward County, Florida. Finally, I successfully resolved an outstanding FIGA claim that involved major remediation work that was performed at a commercial property in Broward County. Just when my client sought payment, the insurance company went under and all claims were turned […]
